This is my first post, and I am excited to be part of the blogging universe - this seems like an excellent way to let me communicate new discoveries. My latest find is an excellent book called "Plan B 2.0: Rescuing a Planet Under Stress and a Civilization in Trouble".

What I like about this book is that it brings up the problem of the chemical burden - the extraordinary load of man-made chemicals and pesticides we now have in our bodies. It also outlines solutions, which is refreshing, and those solutions are reasonable and straightforward.

As individuals, however, we have to look at the more than 200 manmade chemicals typically found in our bloodstream, many of which are highly toxic, and go about reducing them. As citizens of the planet, we have to help bring the pollution of our planet to a stop.

Dr. Sheppard, This is a great frist entry in your blog. You really do combine cutting edge technology with intuition. I'm looking forward to keeping up with your musings.
