Soy Protein

All the research about soy beans indicates that soy is nutritionally better for us in the fermented form, as in tamari, miso and tempeh. When we eat soy products without fermentation, there is a toxicity issue. Soy can also affect thyroid function. I do not recomend soy to patients with a hypothyroid condition.

I read your comment about soy with interest, because I have switched to soy milk this past year after realizing that I cannot tolerate milk products any more. Is too much soy milk a bad thing?
